Interestingly, the post is not about technology, just the discipline of keeping a lab notebook. The comments are particularly revealing, and well worth reading! The late development of the ELN market is often attributed to concern over the legal acceptance of electronic records in patent litigation and patent interferences. When it comes to IP protection, risk taking doesn’t figure high on the agenda.
