  • As has everyone else, I’ve heard constant bad news about the economy in the US and elsewhere. But today was a first for me — a big consulting company contacted me to see if I had heard of any projects to which they could send one of their people.

Normally, the big consulting companies wouldn’t bother calling me, knowing I have to work pretty hard just to keep myself working by getting my own customers, but this is true desperation when one would take the time to check this with me.

So, I’m not sure if I’d actually say this is the worst I’ve seen since I’ve been working in this industry, but it may well be so.
